WOW! October 12, 2009

Where , who , what, when...

This morning I realized that we are beginning a new qtr in IAAP fiscal year... The thought that time is not standing still, and we can never retrieve yesterday, makes me reflect all the more...

>>> Where am I in the scheme of things?

 * Have my plate full! Choose priorities!

>>> Who am I to my peers?

* In a leadership position, so hope as a member of the board, we are making correct decisions. Myself in particular leaning toward what is good for our chapter. That would make me well respected right?

>>> What is the common goal?

* Still on my books: promote IAAP and Benton County Chapter… EVERYWHERE I go!!!

>>> When will I make a commitment to study and sit for the CAP exam???

For those that do not have the designation of Certified Administrative Professional, I would encourage you to reflect as well the nature of your IAAP involvement. Other priorities override my commitment still… May be next year, IF I can get my department to support me…

Even I have not put my all into this organization, that has given me an example to emulate. :-) :-) :-) Just think of what I or you can achieve when we put our all into anything we set our mind to...

Priorities... What's on your plate? The big ugly on mine is getting through my paper trail at home... So - I suppose I will take some vacation time and do something maybe not so fun, but definitely will make me feel better about myself, and treat those around me better as well since I won’t be such a grouch!

Looking forward to a wonderful Holiday Season, with a lot less stress! Hugs! SB
